Simon Diamond, Sonjay Dutt, Shark Boy cause near riot in India, & more

-TNA stars Simon Diamond, Shark Boy, and Sonjay Dutt made an appearance in Bhopal, India last night and drew a wild crowd. The event, sponsored by ESPN Star Sports, which carries TNA broadcasts locally, was a sellout of roughly 1,500, but more than 1,000 more fans showed up, hoping to get into the event.

Though the extra fans were not allowed into the building, ESPN did try to set up a live feed for the fans outside the building. The crowd tried to force their way into the building eventually, however.

The scene reportedly became quite wild, as fans tried to push their way past security into the building. Diamond, Shark Boy, and Dutt had to have a police escort from the building to their transportation back to their hotel. None of those three were injured, though no word on if any of the fans were injured. The reportedly was a camera taping the scene, but I haven't seen the video online as of this posting.
