Some changes to Soundstage 21, Samoa Joe note, & The Carters on TNA |

Those who attended the Impact! tapings last night at Universal Studios saw many changes to the set up inside Soundstage 21. TNA is once again using two separate ramps for babyface and heel wrestlers. Two larger screens were also added to the set up along with a Spike TV logo and many banners promoting the Bound for Glory PPV on October 23rd.
For those wondering why Samoa Joe was not used at either TV taping for Spike TV, the plan right now is to hold off on using Joe and instead air both videos and vignettes to hype up his debut. Joe did work a tag team match at the end of the night that wasn't taped for Spike TV, teaming with Alex Shelley against Chris Sabin and Apolo. TNA wants to treat Joe as a big deal and want his in-ring debut on Spike TV to be a special one.
The Dallas Morning News ran an article today regarding TNA Wrestling's debut on Spike TV this Saturday and comments from both Bob & Dixie Carter. The article talks about how Panda Energy stepped in by purchasing the company in late 2002 and how they have kept it afloat ever since. It is a very interesting article and can be read here.
