Reports from Mick Foley appearance at Phillies/Mets game, Helms note
On Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 2:18 PM EST Casey Holmes sent this on Wednesday: I just got back from the Phillies/Mets game where it was reported that Mick Foley would be signing autographs. I missed him before the game but in the middle of 6th inning he came out and performed a skit with the Philly Phanatic where a kid in a Mets jersey was about to spar with the Phanatic and Mick Foley came up and put the Mandible Claw on him. Fans were lukewarm, but they did announce him and he got to drive off on the Phanatic's ATV. Too bad Phils lost 3-2 but Jimmy Rollins set the all time Phillies hit streak (32 straight) in the now historic game. Also a small note, fans watching the last few episodes of RAW in the Delaware valley have had a few commercials for Ring of Honor events around Philadelphia.
Xtremefalls43 also sent a report as well: Hey I was at the Phillies Game (on Wednesday) with Mick Foley there. I meant him in a pretty decent line. Very nice guy, very funny and treated everyone with respect. Even after the staff tryed to rush him out he still stayed and signed a lot of things. He did a skit with the Philly Phanatic, He gave some Met's fan the Mandible Claw and then rode on a 4 wheeler out of the stadium. Anyway it was very cool to see him in person, and also got a good pop for his Skit.
Sean sent this in: Hey guys I just wanted to let yall know that Shane "Hurricane" Helms was here in Kinston, North Carolina at the Lenoir County Fair hanging out. He was there with the Tuesday wrestling special we have every year with Indy company Big Time Wrestling organization (who by the way is extremely good group headed by Bobby Fulton), and he was signing autographs and taking pictures. The Main Event was Beautiful Bobby Eaton against Ricky Morton which saw Ricky Morton take the win.
