Ring of Honor Preview - "Burning", Philadelphia, PA (Kobashi and more)
On Sunday, October 2, 2005 at 3:44 AM EST -Ring of Honor returns to Philadelphia tonight with the following card:
-Kenta Kobashi & Homicide vs. Samoa Joe & Low Ki. Kobashi defeated Joe in Kobashi's ROH debut last night. Homicide and Ki are each members of the Rottweilers, but tonight are on opposite sides of the ring. This will be the first time they square off in ROH.
-Christopher Daniels vs. Jimmy Yang. Daniels was victorious in a triple threat last night against Azrieal and Matt Sydal. Yang lost his debut in ROH last night to James Gibson.
-James Gibson vs. Roderick Strong. This is Gibson's final match in ROH before returning to the WWE. Gibson defeated ROH new-comer Jimmy Yang last night in NYC. Strong was victorious over Jimmy Rave of the Embassy last night, pick up a win for Generation Next in the GN/Embassy feud.
-Matt Sydal vs. Jimmy Rave This will be a continuation of the Generation Next/Embassy feud. This is also a rematch from The Final Showdown, where Rave scored the win on Sydal, before he was with GN.
-Colt Cabana vs. Jack Evans. Cabana was unsuccessful against Claudio Castagnoli last night. Evans scored a win on Cabana's latest rival, Homicide, last night in NYC. The last time these two met was as part of the dream manager match at All-Star Extravaganza II.
-Jay Lethal vs. Nigel McGuinness vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Davey Andrews- Four Corner Survival. McGuinness scored a win over Lethal in a Pure Title match last night. Castagnoli picked up a win on ROH veteran Colt Cabana in NYC. Andrews is an ROH School graduate who is looking to earn a regular spot in ROH.
-Plus more to be added, including the Tag Team Titles being defended by new champions Sal Rinauro & Tony Mamaluke, the debut of ROH's authority figure, and more.
