According to reports, sources within World Wrestling Entertainment are indicating at the moment that the company is considering making some serious changes to RAW's current announcing team. There has been talk the last few days about bringing in a new outside announcer. One name that has been tossed around is Mike Goldberg of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

To make matters even more interesting, Goldberg is being considered as an official replacement to current lead RAW announcer Jim Ross. Under one scenario that has been discussed, Ross would leave the announcers table and be reassigned to a new position heading up the announcing for WWE.com.

Again, these are early reports at the moment so it remains to be seen if these new changes will indeed go into effect. Either way, we will keep everyone posted on any late breaking developments.
