Rating breakdown of TNA Impact during Saturday debut, Monday Replay |

As reported earlier this week by Ryan Droste, the debut edition of TNA Impact! on Spike TV this past Saturday drew a final 0.8 cable rating with a 1.6 share. Despite some Spike TV executives feeling the show was going to draw higher than it did, many felt it was a "strong start" for the show. In comparison with the ratings WWE Velocity was bringing in this year, viewership for TNA was up in 44% more homes. TNA was also up 52% in males 18-49 and 45% in males 18-34.
As for the 10/3 Monday night replay we also reported on yesterday, that drew a 0.5 cable rating following The Ultimate Fighter 2. This number was actually expected to be a bit higher given the night, although some have attributed the late timeslot as a reason for it being down. Despite this, Spike TV was said to be very happy with TNA's performance this week overall.
