The rating is in for the second edition of TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV from this past weekend and it provided some good news for TNA. The show on 10/8 drew a final 0.82 cable rating, up from last week's 0.8 rating which translates into 994,000 viewers.

Viewership was up 5% from last week's debut show as well as many key demographics. The show scored a 0.9 in males 18-49, which is a 21% increase from last week's show. They also scored a 0.9 rating with males 18-34, a 23% increase from last week. The highest rated segment on the show was the main event between Team 3D and America's Most Wanted, keeping a strong 0.9 quarter hour until the finish.

In comparison to the ratings WWE Velociy was drawing a month ago on Spike TV, TNA's ratings are 48% higher overall. The company also scored 69% higher in males 18-49 and 61% higher for males 18-34. There is no word yet on what the Monday night replay drew from last night and it may be delayed due to the Columbus Day holiday. The same applies for WWE RAW and the debut of the "A.M. RAW" recap show this past weekend.
