Jim Ross surgery information, Juniors Division, Automaniac & Goldberg
On Monday, October 17, 2005 at 6:43 PM EST Jim Ross is scheduled to undergo colon surgery tomorrow, with the procedure expecting to take several hours. From what is understood, Ross will have a portion of his colon removed and the remainder will be reattached. Ross will then be hospitalized for a week so he can be put on IV fluids and proper medication. On behalf of the staff here at WrestleView.com, we would like to wish good ole J.R. a quick recovery.
In response to the big "statement" WWE issued this past weekend in regards to the new Junions Division they will be introducing to the SmackDown brand, WWE has contacted many Lucha promoters in Mexico seeking talent for it. It remains to be seen how WWE will handle this with many complaining they already have solid talent in their Cruiserweight division as is.
The History Channel recently ceased publicity work for the new "Automaniac" series hosted by Bill Goldberg, so they won't be moving forward with the project any longer. Only 13 episodes were shot and shown on the channel.
