More on WWE fines for SmackDown wrestlers, ECW PPV, The Hurricane |

As reported before by Paul Nemer, 12 SmackDown wrestlers were fined by WWE after arriving late to the SmackDown tapings last week in San Antonio, TX. WWE management had an employee record the arrival times of each wrestler as they entered the building and those who showed up after the required 1 p.m. deadline were fined $500. Some of those fined include World Heavyweight Champion Batista, JBL, Randy Orton, The Mexicools, Scotty 2 Hotty and others.
WWE started sending out PPV bonus checks for the ECW One Night Stand PPV event last week. Given that the show drew very well both gate and buyrate wise, those WWE contracted talent that took part in the event more than likely got a nice payoff.
