The following took place on Tuesday in Reno, NV:

Dark Match:

- Scotty 2 Hotty defeated unknown wrestler.

WWE Velocity Tapings (For WWE.com Webcast):

- Juventud defeated Paul London to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Title.

- Christian defeated Brian "Spanky" Kendrick.

- WWE Tag Team Champions Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich vs. William Regal & Paul Birchill went to a No Contest. The finish saw other tag teams on SmackDown hit the ring that included MNM, The Mexicools and The Tolands.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Tapings (Air Date: Oct. 21st):

- Booker T defeated Chris Benoit to become the NEW WWE United States Champion. The match ended with Sharmell giving Benoit a low blow with Booker T not seeing and Booker hitting the Axe Kick for the title win.

- Backstage, Booker T was shown celebrating the win with Sharmell when Chris Benoit came up. Benoit accused Sharmell of interference. Booker calls Benoit a sore loser.

- Backstage, "Cowboy" Bob Orton claims he has an injured back and can't team with Randy Orton against Batista & Eddie Guerrero. Teddy Long tells Randy that it will be a Handicap Match until he can find an opponent.

- Backstage, JBL conducts an interview regarding his music being played at RAW during the Big Show vs. Edge match. They also show a clip of Edge vowing to get his revenge. JBL denies having anything to do with it.

- Matt Hardy defeated Simon Dean.

- JBL vs. Rey Mysterio went to a No Contest. The finish saw Mysterio hit the 619 on JBL and then Edge's music and video played in the arena. Edge then hit the ring and gave Mysterio a Spear. Edge stared at JBL and then JBL chased after Edge. After this took place, Chris Masters hit the ring and locked Mysterio in the Masterlock. Funaki then led SmackDown's group of Cruiserweights to the ring to help out Mysterio. Masters took out all the cruiserweights alone until Hardcore Holly & Road Warrior Animal/Heidenreich ran out.

- Backstage, Rey Mysterio was with many SmackDown stars. Teddy Long asked if he was okay and Mysterio asked Long to "work his magic" because he wanted Edge.

- Bobby Lashley defeated Vito w/ Nunzio.

- Backstage, Palmer Cannon talked to Teddy Long about his "NTI" or New Talent Initiative. Cannon introduced Long to the new Juniors Division. Many small luchadore wrestlers then appeared backstage and Cannon introduced them all to Long. Said to be a funny segment.

- Hardcore Holly defeated Sylvan.

- Batista & Eddie Guerrero vs. Randy Orton & Mr. Kennedy went to a No Contest. The finish saw Bob Orton come out and get involved. Kennedy knocked out Guerrero with a steel chair shot and Bob Orton, Randy Orton and Kennedy all beat down Batista. As all three headed to the back, Teddy Long announced that next week a big Six Man Tag Team Match would take place with Batista, Eddie Guerrero & "Rowdy" Roddy Piper vs. Randy Orton, Bob Orton & Mr. Kennedy.

Post-Taping Bonus Match:

- Batista defeated Randy Orton to retain the World Heavyweight Title.
