iMPACT! Primetime Special Taping Results -- to air November 3rd
On Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 11:45 PM EST TNA iMPACT! Primetime Special (Air Date - November 3):
- Jeff Hardy, Sabu & Lance Hoyt defeated The Diamonds In The Rough.
- Monty Brown defeated Brian Gamble.
- X Division Champion AJ Styles, Sonjay Dutt & Austin Aries defeated Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels & Alex Shelley.
- Petey Williams defeated Matt Bently & Chris Sabin in an Ultimate X rematch from Bound for Glory. This match was actually taped prior to the first iMPACT! taping to ensure no problems took place as it did at the PPV this past Sunday night. They announced that Williams would face AJ Styles for the X Division Title at the Genesis PPV.
- Team 3D defeated Team Canada's Bobby Roode & Eric Young.
- Jeff Jarrett defeated Rhino to become the NEW NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Yes, Rhino's title reign only lasted for two whole days, well, two weeks given the airdate of this special. Interference from AMW hitting the Death Sentence on Rhino through a table on the outside following a Stroke gave Jarrett the pinfall. A bloody Team 3D was also shown backstage after the title win.
