As noted earlier, WWE.com put up a story this afternoon confirming that TNA's Jerry Jarrett was at WWE Headquarters today in Stamford, CT. Nothing else was confirmed by the website. Some early reports have indicated that Jarrett was simply visiting to discuss classic Memphis footage with the McMahon's that WWE would like to use in the near future. However, to make matters interesting, WWE's article stated that Jarrett "was not alone" in his visit and there has been talk that his son (and TNA staple) Jeff Jarrett tagged along as well. This has already prompted rumors that quite frankly are not possible at this point in terms of the Jarretts "selling" TNA to WWE. In reality, Panda Energy owns the majority stock in the company, so a deal would have to be made through them as well. Of course, we are jumping the gun at this point and it is possible classic footage was the only thing discussed. We intend on following up on this story throughout the day into the weekend.
