The following was transcribed by The Big Mosh:

Former WWE booker & head of World Championship Wrestling's Creative Team, Vince Russo, was a special guest on this past week's live edition (11/21/05) of Monday Night Mayhem -- which can be heard in streaming audio every week exclusively on The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network (www.MondayNightMayhem.com, www.WrestlingMediaNetwork.com, www.RadioWrestling.net, & www.AudioWrestling.com -- your official home of "The Spring Break Incident" Video-On-Demand, featuring SmackDown! Diva, Stacy Keibler).

The interview with Vince Russo is now available to hear for free in Real Audio.

The man joined us for our final-ever edition of Monday Night Mayhem on broadcast radio one year ago, so we found it fitting to extend the invitation once again. He has been called "The Anti-Christ Of Professional Wrestling." By some of his harshest critics, he has been dubbed as one of the contributors who "killed" World Championship Wrestling. Controversy has followed him his entire career. Vince Russo made his triumphant return to The Mayhem!

Vince joined The Big Mosh & Blade to promote his new autobiography, "Forgiven: One Man's Journey From Self-Glorification To Satisfaction," (available through www.ECWPress.com & most major retail stores) & Ring Of Glory's upcoming event, "The Great Commission." Russo also gave his uncensored thoughts on Jim Ross' future with the WWE & why he feels his "firing" storyline went over the edge, the passing of Eddie Guerrero, who he truly feels was responsible for "The Death Of WCW," and some of his greatest memories of past WWE Survivor Series events - including the infamous "Montreal Screwjob." Vince promised all who listen an interview for the ages, one that will silence his critics forever and answer any questions that have never been answered -- and he delivered in a huge way!

=====================================================

*Vince's book ("Forgiven") was originally completed in 2001, when World Championship Wrestling closed its doors. "I didn't pull no punches. When I became a Christian, I began to forgive." He eliminated all of the foul language, and was 100% honest at the same time.

*His thoughts/memories on working with the late Eddie Guerrero: Russo only had the opportunity to work with Eddie for about two months in WCW. He thanks God that Eddie had a really big heart and a lot of love for his family.

*Mending the fences with Jim Ross: Vince simply stated that both him & J.R. were victims of the wrestling business. Once he was saved, Russo had much love for Jim Ross & his contributions to the sport. "He is simply the best in the business." Vince does not know why, however, that Ross put up with the humiliation for so long.

*Going back to the WWE anytime soon & addressing the hot rumor of him headed back to TNA: "I could not even think of going back, because neither organization have nothing to offer me as a Christian. Even if I was offered a million dollars to take, I would refuse the offer. I have found peace for the first time in a long time."

*Candid thoughts on working with Bret "Hitman" Hart: "Bret was the closest thing to a hero that we will have or see again. He has so many positives, and those definitely outweigh the bad ones he might still have."

*Being Vince McMahon's "right-hand man:" His relationship with McMahon was 100% honest. "I never played the game. I never bent over backwards for him -- unlike other people in the company. I was probably the only person whom is & was honest with him from the start."

*His memories of the Monday Night Wars and whether or not we will ever see one like that again: Vince does not think the business is going to change much for the better -- period. The Monday Night Wars are officially dead & over with -- meaning in our lifetime that is." Those times between the WCW & the WWE were "out there" and "extremely revolutionary."

*The real "Death Of WCW" & his takes on the controversial book: Vince feels strongly that the death of World Championship Wrestling had nothing to do with the boys or the owners -- it was the result of Turner Broadcasting higher-ups. "The book itself was a joke, because both people who wrote it were never in the company on a day-to-day basis. That would be like me writing on a book on the current state of affairs in the WWE."

*How Ring Of Glory is different than other feds/promotions & the rest of the business in general: "The reason I did this was simple & easy -- There are no rating, no power struggles, no glory. Everyone who works & is a part of the show is blessed. It is a show for one person -for God. From children to adults, it is nothing but positive for all people who check it out. People will leave the event being better people than when they walked in. It will be about putting your neighbors/fellow man first above all."

*Reflecting on his time in the business: "It was a horrible life. Nothing in that arena was worth it." He believes that that is a very good reason why so many wrestlers (such as Sting, Shawn Michaels, & Ted DiBiase) are turning to Jesus Christ.
