Joey Styles & WWE agree to verbal deal, Last Man Standing, OVW note
On Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 3:47 PM EST Joey Styles and World Wrestling Entertainment have come to a verbal agreement for Styles to become the new permanent lead announcer for Monday Night RAW along with Jerry "The King" Lawler and The Coach. As of now, it is just a matter of getting the contract signed at this point.
In regards to the Last Man Standing Match between Ric Flair and Triple H at Survivor Series this past Sunday night, the original plan was to have "security" pull Triple H and Ric Flair apart to finish the contest. Instead, Flair opted to take the beating from Triple H and lose cleanly. The company ended up going with that suggestion after all.
Members of WWE's creative team are scheduled to visit with talent tomorrow at Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, KY. The members will be attending the training session in the afternoon, but will fly back before tomorrow night's OVW TV taping. A number of developmental talents were backstage at RAW last night in Cleveland and are again scheduled to attend the SmackDown tapings tonight in Cincinnati.
