11/26 iMPACT! rating goes up, Team 3D issue at TV tapings, & Pierzynski
On Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 5:32 PM EST The 11/26 edition of TNA iMPACT! drew a final 0.8 cable rating. This is up from last week's rather low 0.6 rating and from the 0.7 rating two weeks ago. As we noted last week, ratings for TNA were down since the big primetime special on November 3. This number has got to make many happy within TNA management after seeing a two week decline.
According to reports, there is a situation going on right now with Team 3D and TNA at the moment. Details are sketchy at this point, but we do know that a good portion of both TV tapings tonight for Spike TV were written with Team 3D playing some important roles. Brother Ray & Brother Devon are not at the tapings tonight as they just flew overseas for the current All Japan World Tag League Tournament. It is believed some miscommunication took place regarding their available dates for TNA. The early word is that there is nothing negative being said about them at the moment as it appears to be a simple communication error. We hope to have more about this developing situation later tonight.
The official website for the Chicago White Sox noted that AJ Pierzynski would be at the TNA TV tapings tonight for Spike TV in Orlando at Universal Studios along with Dale Torborg (aka Kiss Demon in WCW). The website noted quote, "Without giving away any of the plot, don't look for Pierzynski to take any bumps, bruises or falls during the show."
