Issue with Kane entrance on RAW, Batista working injured, attendance
On Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 6:34 PM EST Adam Lebow sent word about an issue that took place during Kane's entrance during a commercial break that played live on WWE Unlimited on WWE.com. Kane goes for his usual pyro spot in the ring, but the pyro doesn't go off. You can see Big Show laughing at this until they cut to the entrance ramp for the entrances of Gene Snitsky and Tyson Tomko. Some have noted that the spot could have been planned since there were no pyro canisters attached to the ring posts as usual. To view the incident, click here.
World Heavyweight Champion Batista is currently scheduled to appear at a December 29 SmackDown event in Buffalo, NY facing The Undertaker and Randy Orton in the main event. Some have already questioned the fact of WWE using Batista on the road as he continues to rehab his lat injury.
Attendance at the SmackDown tapings last night in Cincinnati, OH were said to be down quite a bit in recent years. One fan report described the attendance as being as small as a WCW show that was held at the arena right before the company went out of business.
