In regards to WWE introducing the "storyline" firing of Eric Bischoff as the General Manager of RAW, Bischoff was told by WWE management that he was not in trouble and that he didn't do anything wrong. According to reports, Bischoff was not made aware of any big "master plan" of his status on WWE TV. All he was told was that both Vince and Stephanie McMahon were happy with his performances. Bischoff is still under contract (earning around $200,000 a year), but it is possible the company may not renew his deal. Some reports have indicated this move would excite many former WCW stars now in WWE to see Bischoff get laid off or fired given the way some talent were treated during Bischoff's days in WCW.

According to one WWE source, the storyline at Armageddon last Sunday where Tim White committed "suicide" was not taken well backstage. "Not one person backstage thought the suicide angle had any place on this show, especially this close to Eddie Guerrero's death and Eugene's near death," said the WWE source. "No one I saw liked it, but of course, as usual, no one spoke up."

Steven Richards is still sitting at home collecting his downside checks and waiting to hear from WWE about any bookings they might have for him. Richards is not injured, but has been home for almost four months without working on a consistant basis.
