Former TNA stars signs WWE deal; creative team member helps, more
On Friday, December 30, 2005 at 3:38 PM EST PWInsider's Mike Johnson is reporting that former TNA star Sonny Siaki has reportedly signed a deal with WWE. The early word is that it may be a developmental deal, although not much is known.
According to the reports, Siaki was recommended to WWE by creative team member Dusty Rhodes. It was no secret that Rhodes was very impressed with Siaki's work in TNA and featured him quite a bit while he was head booker of the company.
There remains no official word on when Siaki will start with WWE or if he will report to either of the company's developmental territories (Ohio Valley Wrestling or Deep South Wrestling). As we reported on a few months ago, Siaki's contract with TNA had expired earlier this year and he opted to not renew when the time came.
