As reported on yesterday, World Wrestling Entertainment withdrew their attempt to prevent Brock Lesnar from working for New Japan Pro Wrestling on December 27. It was noted by WWE that they reserved the right to attempt to do so again in the future. Lesnar is still scheduled to take part in the main event at the New Japan event at the Tokyo Dome on January 4. This withdrawl was accepted on December 29 by Judge Christopher F. Droney. A hearing is scheduled on January 3, 2006 regarding that matter.

On a related note, WWE filed a 19 page opposition on Friday in the United States District Court of Minnesota in attempts to stop Lesnar from preventing the deposition of his attorney David Bardley Olsen. WWE recently argued that situation should be transferred to the Court in Connecticut where Lesnar's lawsuit is filed. The Connecticut court has already ruled Olsen as a witness in the lawsuit, even more specifically in regards to Lesnar's relationship with New Japan. It was also noted that Olsen was not allowed to attend WWE's deposition of Lesnar on November 21. WWE is alledging that Lesnar filed the motion two days before they were scheduled to deposition Olsen in a "last minute" attempt.
