As reported on earlier by Paul Nemer, WWE announced today that Juventud Guerrera has been giving his release from the company. Juventud made his final appearance for WWE at the SmackDown tapings this past Tuesday night in Wilkes Barre, PA that will air tonight on UPN.

Juventud debuted with WWE this past June as part of The Mexicools stable along with Psicosis and Super Crazy. He held the WWE Cruiserweight Title on two different occassions this past year, most recently dropping the belt to Kid Kash at the Armageddon PPV last month. To many, this release was no big surprise. Although Juventud was considered a strong worker in the ring, he gained a lot of heat with WWE wrestlers (even some who were considered good friends of his) for his behavior backstage and in the ring.

In the last few months, Guerrera reportedly burnt many bridges with several WWE wrestlers after they tried speaking with him about his actions only to see Juventud blow them off. The feeling by many WWE workers was that it was only a matter of time that he would get released by WWE. One recent report has indicated that the "last straw" after a series of warnings by WWE management to Juventud took place at the SmackDown tapings this past Tuesday in Wilkes Barre, PA when Juventud and Kid Kash went over their scheduled match by many minutes.
