On Sunday, February 26, 2006 at 8:33 PM EST Philstar.com (The Filipino Global Community) has an article regarding WWE stars leaving the Philippines this past weekend after the two events in Manila. To check it out, click here.
A few readers sent us word that the bio for Goldust in the "RAW Superstars" section on WWE.com has now been added. To check it out, click here. Thanks to everyone who sent that in.
Big Bad Mike sent this in: I have been trying to perfect recording options for WWE and TNA programming, especially since I missed part of RAW on the week of the Westminster Dog Show because they moved it to thursday and renamed it "WWE Thursday Night RAW" which wasn't recognized by my recording criteria that I had set on my DVR.
Setting a keyword for RAW is not an option because my DVR would be flooded with porn from late night "skin-emax", and setting a keyword for "Smackdown" has gotten me suprise recordings from TV shows about video games at least twice a week and just this past week a recording of a cooking show where the phrase "burger smackdown" was used to decribe a cookoff.
My couchbound quest for the perfect recording tags led me to make an interesting discovery. TNA Impact! shows it's original airing on Saturdays and a replay of that airing on Mondays. The INTERESTING PART is that I have my DVR set to record "first runs only" and the Monday night replay gets through that filter because the replay is not sufficiently tagged as a REPLAY. It gets recorded as a first run. I'm not in a neilsen home, so my particular home doesn't affect ratings for WWE or TNA shows. What I do realize, however, is that with the recent change in neilsen ratings to reflect DVR viewership this might artificially inflate TNA Impact's ratings for the Monday night airing. The fact that many fans that are in neilsen homes will see an additional episode of Impact that got through "first airings only" filters with no description or episode information on it will make them VIEW the episode for an least one minute until they surmise that it is a repeat and delete it. This equals extra recordings and viewings of the Monday night replay.
My cable provider is Time Warner Cable and I live in Milwaukee. Let me know if you see the same "glitch" with other providers.
