The following questions were answered by Paul Nemer:
I hear WWE announcers refer to Carlito as a "second generation superstar." I was wondering, who is his father and did he ever wrestle in WWE? His father, Carlos Colon was the promoter of World Wrestling Council. Carlos Colon didn't wrestle for the WWF, but he did make a couple of appearances. One of them being at the 1993 Royal Rumble as one of the 30 participants.
In the mid-90s there was a very tall wrestler in WCW dressed up in a mummy costume. I believe he was part of the group Dungeon Of Doom. Can you tell me what his name was, how tall he was and which wrestler played him in that gimmick.
His character name was The Yeti, which was played by Ron Reis. You might remember Ron by one of his other wrestling characters in WCW, "Reese", where he was a member of Raven's Flock. As far how tall he was, he was close to 7'0, maybe a bit more.
When Kerry von Erich beat Curt Hennig for the I-C gold in Summer Slam 1990, it seemed as though he was going to get a big "push" with the WWF. A year later, however, he was rarely seen on TV and never won another championship ever again. Would you good folks at Wrestleview happen to know why his career fizzled out the way it did?
To make this short and sweet, Kerry Von Erich had a serious drug problem, which eventually led to his release from the WWF in 1992. It's a shame to see how this man's career ended the way it did, he was great wrestler.
I remember at one point in time that the WWE had a great competition going on with Brawl for All. Within this competition, Bart Gunn was just cleaning house, I am curious to whether this was a legitimate event every time people boxed & wrestled each other, or was it scripted? Also, any chance of it ever being brought back?
This was a legit non-scripted competition, which I doubt will ever be brought back, since a few of the wrestlers suffered injuries from it. Bart Gunn beat Bradshaw in the finals of the tournament. Since he was Brawl for All champion, he actually fought professional boxer, Butterbean at WrestleMania 15. Butterbean knocked out Bart Gunn in a matter of seconds.
In 1995, There was a wrestler who played a guitar with the WWF logo on it, Who was that guy?
That was Man Mountain Rock. You might remember him from WCW as Maxx Payne, he teamed up with Cactus Jack many times.
