Ryan sent word that the ECW logo can partially be seen on Raven's official website. Despite the possible hints being dropped on the website, Raven is not eligible to particpate at the second ECW One Night Stand PPV on June 11 nor the new ECW brand being started by WWE.

On June 25th, we will be presenting a wrestling clinic with ROH star Austin Aries from the CCW House of Pain, located on 1011 3rd Avn. in Terre Haute. There will be two classes. The first will be a beginner's class that will start around 1:00 p.m., with a Q&A session following with Aries. Then, at about 3:30 p.m., an Advanced training course will begin with Austin. Wrestling fans, Next Era Wrestling returns to the German House in Rochester, New York, on May 7th, 2006 to present to you: The Ultimate Clash! Doors open at 2, with the first bell at 2:30 PM. This will be a very important event, with not only many championship titles on the line, but The Ultimate Clash itself will be taking place, where many N.E.W. superstars have a chance to be next in line for a shot at the Next Era Wrestling World Heavyweight Title!

Speaking of the World Heavyweight Championship, the fans have spoken! In order to determine who would face the new World Heavyweight Champion, The Den's own Tyger Smith, a poll was created on the N.E.W. Message Board, which can be found at www.nexterawrestling.com. The poll listed several talented superstars for fans to vote on who should face Tyger Smith for his title belt. And when it was all said and done, the one man, of all people, who got the majority of the votes was none other than the current reigning N.E.W. Tap Out Champion... "The Messiah of Malice" Robert Ezekyo! The man who calls himself "T.F.D." has been on a rampage, boasting an impressive undefeated streak ever since N.E.W. Ascension, and outlasting three top talents to become the first-ever Tap Out Champion. This is undoubtedly his biggest opportunity ever, to go toe to toe with champion Tyger Smith. Will Ezekyo's winning ways bring him success at The Ultimate Clash, or will Tyger Smith prove to everyone that the N.E.W. World Heavyweight Championship truly belongs around his waist!?

But that's not all... a Three Way Dance is in store, and the United States Tag Team Championships are up for grabs! The United Nations, Al Jihad and Frenchie Mercier, must defend their belts against not only The Killer Steves, but The Saints as well! In such a match, it is indeed possible for The U.N. to lose their belts without even being pinned, so they have a lot riding on the line here! There are three tough and very talented teams in this matchup, so this one could surely go one of three ways!

Also, ever since scoring the upset victory and earning the North Eastern Title, the monstrous Ryot has been taking out contenders left and right to retain his title. But now, he has to defend that belt against the man he beat for it: "The Touch of Death" Din Mak! Not only that, but it is a Weapons Match as well. This seems to be more in Din Mak's favor, as he is well versed in armed combat. But will it be enough to slay Ryot and take the North Eastern Championship from him? And in a added twist, the match is now a fans bring the weapons match.

And finally, the aptly named Ultimate Clash! This match will have 20 superstars competing in a battle royal-themed match. The rules are as follows: two superstars, picked at random, will start one-on-one, and every three minutes, another random-drawn superstar will enter the match, according to which number they drew, until all 20 have entered the contest. Elimination occurs when a superstar is thrown over the top rope, and both of their feet touch the arena floor. The winner of the match will be the one wrestler who can outlast the other 19 in the match, and is left standing alone when it's over. And the winner of this contest will earn an open contract, granting them a shot at the N.E.W. World Heavyweight Championship, valid for 180 days. In that 180 days, the wrestler can choose when they want to cash in and get that title shot!

"The Inhuman Monstrosity" SuperBeast, Lamar Braxton Porter, "The Grand Pumpkin" Johnny Swift, J.K. Johnny Kadillac, Papa Terry Kadillac, Kriptic, Crazy Chris Knieval, Tommy Mandrake, and many others are in this match to fight for that open contract for The World Heavyweight Championship!
