Shawn Blake Named New Vice President, Publicity For World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.

STAMFORD, Conn., April 27, 2006 - Shawn Blake has been named the new Vice President, Publicity for World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. Reporting to Kurt Schneider, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Blake will be responsible for all of WWE®’s publicity and consumer PR activities. “We are thrilled to have someone with Shawn’s experience, contacts, media savvy and enthusiasm join the WWE team," Schneider said. “She will be a great asset in helping WWE retain its hold on pop culture and become water cooler talk day in and day out."

Most recently working as an independent public relations consultant, Blake made her mark at Touchstone Television, where as Vice President of Media Relations, she helped rebrand the multi-million dollar television production studio arm of The Walt Disney Company. Blake joined Touchstone in June 1997 as Director of Media Relations, and was promoted to Vice President in September 2000 where she managed the media relations and corporate communications departments.

During her tenure at the studio, Blake created and oversaw award-winning publicity campaigns for all of Touchstone Television’s critically-acclaimed prime-time network programming, including: “Alias," “Scrubs," “My Wife and Kids," "8 Simple Rules," “Hope & Faith" and “Felicity," to name just a few.

Prior to joining Touchstone, Blake was Vice President, Consumer Television Division at Bender, Goldman & Helper Public Relations. While there, she was responsible for the publicity efforts on behalf of television series including: "Frasier," "3rd Rock from the Sun," "Sister, Sister" and much of The Disney Channel's original programming.

Blake also served as Director, Publicity for Columbia Pictures Television, where she was actively involved in all areas of Columbia Television publicity and promotion on both the corporate and consumer side.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Blake was born and raised in Los Angeles. She currently resides in Greenwich, Conn. and will be based out of WWE’s corporate headquarters in Stamford, Conn.
