WWE.com is reporting today that as a result of a "cracked rib", former World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle will be out of action for an "undetermined amount of time."

The story on WWE's website states that Angle suffered the injury during the WWE's recent tour of Europe during a match with Mark Henry. Angle added, “At that point, I wasn’t even sure if I was going to be able to compete against Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship."

It should be noted that although Angle does have a slight rib injury, the general wear and tear of his body is the main reason for the time off. As a result of Angle's injury, he will be unable to compete in the rest of the King of the Ring Tournament and Booker T will now advance to the finals on SmackDown. We hope to get more information regarding Angle's injury and how long he is expected to be out of action for in the next few weeks or even months.
