WWE has officially signed former ZERO-ONE star Sylvester "Predator" Terkay. Terkay worked a Dark Match at the RAW taping last night in Tacoma against a local wrestler.

Terkay is a former NCAA Division I National Champion in the Heavyweight Division for North Carolina State and even wrestled against Kurt Angle on a collegiate level back in 1995. The match between Angle and Terkay at the 1995 NCAA championships was heavily covered by Sports Illustrated back in the day and was considered a pivotal moment in Angle's career as he was outweighed heavily by Terkay.

It should be noted Terkay originally trained under Rick Bassman's UPW school in California and then signed a developmental deal with WWE joining Ohio Valley Wrestling. Terkay was later released and found a place in the ZERO-ONE promotion in 2001 where he was given the "Predator" gimmick that he patterned after the legendary Bruiser Brody. Although there is early talk of incorporating Terkay into the new ECW brand, other reports state the company is undecided where they want him at this point.
