According to reports, MTV will be issuing contractual releases to Justin Credible, New Jack, Chris Hamrick and Puma in regards to the Wrestling Society X project.

This would make Credible and New Jack available for the new ECW revival. It should be noted that WWE has already expressed interest in both Credible and Hamrick at one point, while Puma could be coming to a deal with TNA since he has been used by the company for quite some time now.

For those wondering about the status of Wrestling Society X, the project is already seeking out new talents in anticipation for the filming of the first season. Although MTV has yet to make an official announcement about the project, they have already trademarked the name for "Wrestling Society X" back in April and this has led everyone affiliated with the project to believe it has been picked up.
