The Sandman was originally scheduled to cane an alien during his segment last night. However, officials from the Sci Fi Channel stepped in and didn't want to see an alien getting beat up on their network. So, as if it was anything better, we got a zombie instead.

Speaking of this, you can expect more "sci fi" like characters to be introduced on ECW TV over the next few weeks unless plans change. As noted earlier, WWE already filmed vignettes for Shelly Martinez as a tarot card reading witch.

Former ECW & WWE star The Blue Meanie responded to JBL's comments about him on his "MySpace" at the second ECW One Night Stand PPV this past Sunday. Meanie added the following, "Thanks for keeping my name out there John! lol And for all of you who STILL ask me if I am going to ECW after I have posted plenty of blogs that I have NOT been contacted......I still haven't been contacted."
