First and foremost, to all of my readers who are the fathers of children, I would like to take a minute to say

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

This particular papa of three monsters has business to attend to, and it's time to get down to it, cause time's a wastin'.

It's time for picks for tonight's TNA 4th Anniversary. "Slammiversary" Even with the mistake that apparently Spike TV and TNA made by leaking a video preview of next week's Impact!, it's still got a lot of potentially show stealing matchups throughout this usually packed card. So, let's get down to business.

Pre Show contest
Team Canada's ERIC YOUNG & A-1 vs. The Naturals of CHASE STEVENS & ANDY DOUGLAS

To the best of my knowledge, this is probably going to be the first match, if not definitely the PPV debut, of the Franchise, Shane Douglas, as the Naturals' new manager. With Douglas guiding the former NWA World Tag Team Champions, expect a new, intense, dramatic change in attitude out of Stevens and Douglas. I would not be surprised if D'Amore is not in the corner of Team Canada as he prepares for the ass kicking he'll get during the show, but I will go out on a limb and say the Naturals end their losing ways with the help of the Franchise, and begin their eventual slow rise to title contention with a victory here.

WINNERS: The Naturals

X Division Elimination Match for Rankings
ALEX SHELLEY vs. PETEY WILLIAMS vs. JAY LETHAL vs. SONJAY DUTT vs. SHARK BOY vs. SENSHI

The only possible way this match would not go down the way I think it will is if Shelley's wild card shows up, and that being Kevin Nash. I would be surprised if he does, as he is preparing to meet Chris Sabin later in the card. Out of the six men here, Shark Boy is the obvious one who has little to no chance of advancing to the winner's circle. Williams and who I pick for the winner are the only former X Division Champions in this six pack so I would suspect their experience will guide them through the land mines that is an X Division six way dance. Like I said, if Nash stays out, it wouldn't surprise me to see Petey make the finals against the winner, and that should be very interesting to see.

WINNER: Senshi

TEAM 3D vs. THE JAMES GANG

I would suspect Ray and Devon to be really annoyed with the rebirth of ECW up north, so they are liable to come in to this match with a new found anger. I also would suspect Kip and BG to be a little annoyed with the rebirth of DX, so that as well could add to the intensity of this contest. It's kind of funny, up north we have rebirths of two of the most successful elements of pro wrestling's past with ECW and DX, and four of the major foundations of both of those elements are competing in a PPV match down south.

Ironic.

WINNER: The James Gang

I think Kip and BG are being groomed to be eventual tag team champions. If Ray and Devon haven't gotten there yet, I am not sure why, and I doubt they're going to in the near future.

HANDICAP MATCH
RHINO vs. SCOTT D'AMORE & BOBBY ROODE

I would think that Rhino is going to find a way to get his hands on D'Amore and gore him in to the middle of next week. While doing so, Roode will figure out a way to take that disadvantage, and turn it into an advantage and get the win. While Rhino does get the revenge he wants, it'll cost him the victory in the match to do it.

WINNERS: Bobby Roode & Scott D'Amore

KEVIN NASH vs. CHRIS SABIN

If Nash doesn't allow Sabin to go over, this whole X Division angle with Nash is a joke. He needs to have Sabin go over to keep the feud alive, and have it gain in intensity. Without that, the whole angle is nothing more than a joke. However, I am not going to be surprised if Nash's ego doesn't allow him to take the fall in this match, and therefore hamstringing TNA management in to letting him get the win, and hence, placing the X Division as a whole on a significantly downward spiral in its prestige.

WINNER: Kevin Nash

NWA World Tag Team Championship
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED vs. A.J. STYLES & CHRISTOPHER DANIELS

AMW have been champions a long time. AJ and Daniels provide some nice refreshment to the tag team division that I think TNA needs. However, as I said before, I have to believe that either the James Gang or Team 3D are eventually going to figure out a way to take the dupe, and, unless for a significant heel turn on either one of those two teams, I would not be surprised if AMW wins this contest to keep the belts until they eventually make it to either one of the two previous teams I mentioned. It's depressing to say, because I want AJ and Daniels to win, as I think they would be tremendous champions, but I am going to pick AMW.

WINNERS: America's Most Wanted

SAMOA JOE vs. SCOTT STEINER

This will be a major test for the Big Bad Booty Daddy. The world knows how Joe can compete. The world knows how much of a talent the X Division champion is. However, Steiner has not been tested to the point and limit he is going to be tested by the Samoan Submission Machine. Outside of the wild card of interference getting involved, but even that would be difficult to usurp the champ, I would think this could easily be the show stealer tonight. I am a HUGE Samoa Joe fan, and I think Joe is going to go over here, because honestly, I don't expect Scott Steiner to end the undefeated streak of the champion. This one will be worth the price of the DVD when it's produced, bar none.

WINNER: Samoa Joe

King of the Mountain Match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship
CHRISTIAN CAGE vs. STING vs. ABYSS vs. RON KILLINGS vs. JEFF JARRETT

Even with the leak that occurred, this match will be unique to see, with the return of Killings to World title contention, and how Sting and Jarrett will compete throughout this match. This match will be tremendous IF ONE CONDITION does not occur.

Sting cannot win the title here, nor can Jarrett. If Abyss wins, if Killings wins, or if Cage retains, then the title picture remains pure, legitimate, and in my opinion, proper. If Sting or Jarrett win the title, then it's obvious they're going to reprise that feud with the NWA World title in the picture, and that would just irritate me to no end. Sting could be involved in the title picture, just not yet. Abyss has had countless chances to win the gold and has come up short, and we don't need to go down the road with Jarrett's title resume, it's just too damn long. When push comes to shove, even though I'm not a Cage fan, I would like to see him win. With that being said, and taking the leak in to consideration, I am going to say we will have a new champion.

WINNER: New NWA World Heavyweight Champion ABYSS

I think that feud with Cage gets re-ignited when Abyss knocks him, the champ, off the ladder, or figures out a way to steal the title right out from Cage's nose. That would be cool to see, and we all know Cage can get hardcore with Abyss. Any other combinations I don't think will work for a new feud for the NWA title. Let's wait and see how it pans out.

Out of here. My six year old is yelling at me to finish up.
