Bill Goldberg conducted a promotional interview earlier today for the new WFA MMA PPV event on July 22 that he will take part in doing announcing duties.

Although the WFA was the primary focus, many questions regarding Goldberg and TNA were brought up. When asked, Goldberg said he had no plans to do anything with TNA in the near future and mentioned he wanted to focus his attention on his young son right now. He noted that there would have to be "extensive negotiations" with Spike TV before he would even consider a deal with TNA, indicating that he is looking for the same deal Sting got.

Goldberg later went on to describe TNA as a "smaller wrestling company" with a moderate budget behind it. He also said that he would only be interested in TNA if they made a real financial commitment to compete with WWE, something he feels they aren't doing right now. When asked if he ever watched the TNA product on Spike, he added quote, "I've stomached a little of it." Goldberg said TNA needed help with talent, production and a better timeslot. When Samoa Joe was mentioned, Goldberg said he would break his neck and didn't seem impressed.
