TNA recently conducted blood tests in the company to ensure no blood diseases would be getting spread in the ring. This was also a health issue on the minds of those within TNA and a decision was made to conduct tests given the amount of blood used as of late on TV and at PPV events.

It should be noted that TNA is not testing for drugs as the "company line" is that since they don't employ wrestlers full-time and only work a few dates a month, they don't have a responsibility for conducting them right now.

Many have labeled that as a convenient excuse for TNA to use when confronted with the issue, something that was pulled on ESPN 2 when TNA stars were confronted about the issue on Stephan A. Smith's "Quite Frankly" program.
