On Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 3:16 AM EST Multichannel News has an article up looking at Spike TV programming and how well the network has been able to attract the male demographic audience. TNA President Dixie Carter is quoted in the article talking about how pro wrestling has never been on in an 11pm timeslot and how successful they have been thus far. For more, click here.
As reported earlier, TNA is already making plans to hold a PPV outside of Orlando later this year. The front runner for the PPV looks to be Detroit, Michigan. Other cities discussed include Las Vegas and Atlanta. Many critics of TNA have always wanted to see the company run a PPV outside of the smaller Impact Zone at Universal Studios to give it a fresher look. It looks like that is the goal for this October.
Names being considered for Jamie D's new character, the woman that debuted at Slammiversary during the NWA World Tag Team Title Match, includes Zenya and Amazonia.
