6/29 TNA iMPACT! rating stays strong without "Ultimate Fighter" lead-in

The 6/29 edition of TNA iMPACT! drew another 1.1 cable rating for the second week in a row, averaging 1.4 million viewers overall.

Demographic wise, the show did a 1.3 rating among males 18-49 and a 1.4 rating among males 18-34. It should be noted that while UFC Unleashed was the lead-in for TNA this week, it was a change as The Ultimate Fighter series was the lead-in for TNA since the move to Thursday night.

Next Thursday will be a big test for TNA as they will no longer have two hours or more of lead-ins from UFC programming. Instead, Spike TV will air two episodes of "The Dudesons" and "Raising the Roofs" before TNA. So, this is why they have booked Sting & Christian Cage vs. Jeff Jarrett & Scott Steiner for iMPACT! next week.
