Visitors can cool off in the gently flowing river, skip rocks across the water, picnic on the river's edge or toss horseshoes in a grassy field. A three-mile trail winds along the bank and up rocky bluffs, offering excellent views from high above the river. A boat ramp is available for canoeists, kayakers, rafters and anglers. Canoes may be rented from nearby outfitters, and camping and cottages are available 25 miles west at F.D. Roosevelt State Park in Pine Mountain.

Mason Dixon Wrestling is holding a pro wrestling event this Friday July 21nd at a festival just outside of Buckhannon, West Virginia. The top stars of MDW will be there along with The Stro formererly Maestro of WCW. Belltime is 5 pm. est. Here are some directions to the festival:
>From I-79..Take Rt 33 East (Exit 99) to Buckhannon...Take the exit for Rt 20.. turn right off the exit thorough buckhannon....At the game farm,(WV wildlife Center) turn left to Alexander. Shortly after making the left, the road forks... go left toward Alexander. At the top of the hill, turn onto Brook Hill Rd.... just past and going up the gravel road behind the store to get to the festival.
