As has been heavily rumored for some time, stemming from the fact that ECW has outperformed expectations in regards to TV ratings, it looks as though ECW will continue airing on the Sci Fi Channel past the end of the original 12 week deal that was made.

Sci Fi released their September TV schedule, and the ECW show is listed on it. There has not been an official press release issued as of yet, however this pretty much has confirmed that a new deal has been made between WWE and Sci Fi.

The Sci-Fi Channel has released it's TV schedule for September and ECW will air every Tuesday in September from 10 to 11 PM. The original 12-week deal expires on August 29th and since Sci-Fi is advertising ECW for the entire month of September, a new deal must have been made.
