There is no date yet for the next edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. The latest one on July 15 did just a 2.7 rating and all involved knew it was a horrid number. Although one source would rather have this problem because being on broadcast television gives WWE more exposure. WWE was rumored to have two Saturday Night's Main Event specials a year in their deal with NBC Universal but it is highly unlikely that NBC will give them another prime time slot. Don't expect the next SNME until next year.

WWE is starting to realize that they have a problem with Mark Henry. In the past he has been injury prone and in fact was returning from an injury during this last stint on Smackdown. To be fair, Henry, is said to be a great guy backstage and was honestly making the best of his main event push on Smackdown when he fractured his patella and tore his patella tendon at Saturday Night's Main Event. With Henry's contract to expire next month, WWE will have to weigh whether or not Henry can stay healthy if they bring him back.

Chris Benoit is still at home with his wife Nancy (Woman) selling the effects of Mark Henry "injuring" him on Smackdown in May. Benoit was scheduled to wrestle Dean Malenko at ECW One Night Stand but when they changed the format and decided against that, Benoit, wanted to take some time off to be with his wife and child. No word on when Chris Benoit will be at home although it is likely to be until the fall.
