Dark Match & SmackDown Taping Results from East Rutherford |

The following took place on Monday in East Rutherford, NJ:
Dark Match:
- Hardcore Holly defeated Simon Dean.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown Tapings:
- World Heavyweight Champion King Booker vs. The Undertaker and Batista vs. Mr. Kennedy was announced for later tonight.
- William Regal defeated WWE United States Champion Finlay via DQ. The DQ took place when Finlay knocked out Regal with his shillelagh. After the match, Bobby Lashley ran out. Finlay shoved Regal into Lashley who hit a Dominator on Regal.
- Elijah Burke w/ Sylvester Turkay defeated Scott Wright.
- Kristal defeated Ashley.
- Tatanka defeated Sylvan.
- Batista defeated Mr. Kennedy. After the match, Michael Cole interviewed Batista and congratulated him on his win. Batista told Cole he could congratulate him once he wins back his World Title.
- Vito defeated The Brooklyn Brawler.
- Backstage, SmackDown GM Teddy Long was speaking with Montel Vontavious Porter (developmental wrestler in Deep South Wrestling). He told Long that he needed to sign him if he wanted the "MVP" (his initials) of 2006. Porter told Long to speak with his agent on the phone about a deal and left. Long seemed shocked at the financial demands for the deal.
- KC James & Aaron "The Idol" Stevens w/ Michelle McCool defeated Scotty 2 Hotty & Funaki.
- Chavo Guerrero came out to the ring and explained why he turned on Rey Mysterio at The Great American Bash, costing Rey the World Heavyweight Title. Chavo said Rey stole the Guerrero name and blood. He brought up how Rey stole his spotlight many times along side Eddie Guerrero. Rey Mysterio then ran out and attacked Chavo. Eddie Guerrero's wife Vickie jumped over the guard railing and separated the two. Vickie then left to the back.
- The Undertaker defeated World Heavyweight Champion King Booker via DQ. The finish saw Undertaker chokeslam Booker T, but The Great Khali came out and chopped Undertaker over the head to cause the DQ. After the match, Undertaker clotheslined Khali over the top rope and challenged him to a Last Man Standing Match at SummerSlam. The taping finishes with Undertaker doing his usual one knee pose at Khali.
