ECW House Show Results - 8/6/06
Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Curtis Boyland sent in the following report:

I just got back home from the show and even though it didn't sell out it was a great show overall. Me and my big bro got to meet some of the wrestlers before we even got in the building!!!!!! So let's get to the results shall we?

Balls Mahoney def. Rene' Dupree: crowd was obviously on Balls' side. Some chants of "USA!!" and "Balls". Good match although I was suprised Dupree was even in an ECW show. Balls won by crotching Dupree on the top rope and followed up with a Nutcracker Suite.

The FBI def. two local guys: Didn't catch the names of the opponents but they actually put up a good showing. Guido took out one of the jobbers to receive an ECW chant. Mamaluke got the pin. Good entertaining match. My big bro and I started the where's my pizza chant while some guys in front of me (we'd hear from them all day) followed up with a chant of "Big Sal ate it!!" funny stuff!!!

C.M. Punk def. Kevin Thorn: The crowd reacted pretty well to C.M. Punk and the guys in front of us started a "we want Gangrel" chant. Punk won with his Keylock combo move.

Jerry Lawler came out and ripped Jackson, TN and takes it upon himself to be the MC of the Extreme Vixen bikini contest between Kelly Kelly and Francine. I was chanting for Francine to win but a lot of the people was on Kelly's side. Kelly eventually won despite our chants of "she's got herpes". Francine shakes hands with Kelly and then clotheslines her and we got a catfight!!! Francine left along then Mike Knox came out and decked Lawler then the Sandman comes out to a huge ovation which leads to....

Sandman def. Mike Knox: Suprisingly no cane shots at all but a good match. The match ended when Mike Knox grabbed Sandman's singapore cane and tried to use it but Lawler came back out and tried to grab it from him. The ref eventually took it and got into a shoving match with Knox who was then shoved into Sandman for the white russian leg sweep for the win.

After a short intermission (and I do mean short!!!!) Tommy Dreamer came out and talked about how the fans down south refer to two guys beating the crap out of each other as 'rasslin. He called the fans hardcore for waiting out in the hot sun (and it was HOT!!!!!!) He thanked the fans for wanting ECW and help bring it back and also said that Vince doesn't pay his salary...the fans do. He rips into baseball players, football players and other athletes for forgetting about the fans. He adds that since we pay our hard earned money to be there he's gonna kick somebody's ass for us

Test def. Tommy Dreamer: Test came out to "steroid test" chants and went through "you take steroids" and "roid rage" chants all match long. Early in the match Test removed the turnbuckle pad. Tommy put up a great fight but was eventually thrown into the exposed turnbuckle setting him up for a big boot followed by his fireman's carry neckbreaker for the win. Tommy got back up after Test left to chants of "Thank you Tommy"

Kurt Angle def. Rob Van Dam: Big ovation for RVD (who by the way was a true professional the whole night) Kurt Angle came out to his WWE theme and of course you suck chants. Great match ended with RVD tapping to the Ankle Lock. RVD left to a big round of applause.

Big Show def. Sabu in an Extreme Rules match to retain the ECW World Title: Big Show is so f***ing HUGE in person!!!! Sabu came out in the dark and got a big pop when the lights came back on. Two tables were used the whole match while Sabu was throwing chairs at Show like crazy. Big Show won with a chokeslam through one of the tables.

A lot of the guys stayed after the show to take pictures and sign autographs. The interaction was so much fun it was ridiculous. Sandman is a great guy in person and RVD looked like he was glad to be back. Overall a great night and a fun time was had by all. Now if you'll excuse me I need to get some sleep so I'll be good to go for RAW live from the wrestling capital of the world MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE!!!!
