As reported on yesterday, the 8/8 edition of ECW on Sci Fi drew a final 2.2 cable rating with a 3 share, drawing an audience of 2.5 million viewers. Although this number was down slightly from last week's 2.4 rating, Sci Fi officials are still said to be very pleased with ECW's ratings on the network thus far as they were originally hoping the show would do at least a 1.4 rating when it began in June.

ECW debuts on the Global Television Network in Canada tomorrow at Midnight. It should be noted that viewers in Quebec that get the network from CKMI-Montreal should be aware that ECW is being scheduled to air Friday morning at 6:30am. It remains to be seen if this is a one week deal or something that will take place from now on.
