It's time to discuss the WWE's "biggest party of the summer", Summerslam, tonight in Boston.

REY MYSTERIO vs. CHAVO GUERRERO

Any type of match involving these two competitors is a near main event on any card whatsoever. Rey & Chavo can tear it up, no questions asked. However, the pretense of this match scares me to death. Eddie's death should not be taken to task in this manner any which way you see it. I cannot stress to the factor of infinity how much I do not want this feud to take place. Nearly any other creative option possible would be satisfactory in my opinion. This use of Eddie Guerrero's death is abyssmal and offensive, and I am scared to death what Rey and Chavo are prepared to do in use of this pay per view contest.

WINNER: No Contest

I believe Vickie will get involved, which will turn this match of two major talents in to one incredibly difficult segment to watch.

I QUIT MATCH
RIC FLAIR vs. MICK FOLEY

This feud has almost taken a real life turn, as there seems to be some genuine hatred for both men, and that deep down, the comments made about each other in their books has seeded some true resentment. That should make this match even more violent than I think WWE is prepared for. Flair showed he can get hardcore during his ECW title match with Big Show, and more specifically, last week when he nearly tore out Foley's insides with his belt around Foley's neck. Is it possible that Flair could go 2 - 0 in this feud? I'm not sure. Both men have a tremendous amount of reputation to lose for saying I quit. It's a toss up in my opinion on who does it. Both men bleed, severely in this match, by the way. This will look more like Combat Zone Wrestling than WWE when it's all said and done.

WINNER: Mick Foley

Experience in hardcore situations gives Foley the hairline of an edge in coming out victorious in this matchup.

HULK HOGAN vs. RANDY ORTON

This is so contrived, it's not funny. We all know Hogan's going to win, it's a waste of time. And with this supposed knee injury, it'll be swayed even further to Hogan's side to make sure he looks good. This has got to be some form of internal punishment on behalf of WWE against Orton for his past indiscretions. Nobody should be forced to have to make this old geiser look this damn good.

WINNER: Hulk Hogan

D GENERATION X vs. THE MCMAHONS

Expect this to be made NO DQ or hardcore before the match so that the McMahons can use their hired gun against DX. UUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAA will provide some good offense for Satan's followers, but DX will find a way to triumph, because of one quite obvious fact. Michaels needs knee surgery bad, and DX has to be either re-structured or disbanded soon to allow HBK to heal properly, and that point is even more solidified with the 5 year extension at the monumental price that HBK signed for his contract extension. I would not be surprised to see DX win, and then down the line be re-structured with some new blood to allow the name to continue, and allow the founder a chance to heal up.

WINNER: D Generation X

ECW Championship
BIG SHOW vs. SABU

I never thought I would see the day that SABU would be on Summerslam. Hell, I never thought I'd see the day that the ECW World Heavyweight Championship would be defended on a WWE PPV, never the less, Summerslam. Strong rumours have Kurt Angle figuring out a way to get in to this match and make it a 3 way dance. The only true question is, extreme rules or not? Any which way you see it, I think Big Show falls. Sabu or Angle as the champion would take ECW to a nice new turn and allow for some new blood to get a shot at a champion that doesn't seem to be absolutely invincible. Who else in the ECW brand has the pedigree to take out Big Show? Nobody. Sabu can chop down a tree, just ask Abyss and Barbed Wire Massacre. I won't pick a winner, because if Angle does appear in this match, it's a toss up who wins. Hell, why not, I'll take Sabu to win for this reason. Angle is too banged up to be the hunted right now. Sabu can live through the bangups. I don't know if Angle can, at this stage in his career.

WINNER: Sabu

World Heavyweight Championship
KING BOOKER vs. BATISTA

I have nothing but disdain for Batista out side the ring. In the ring, I like his character and I like his work. I CANNOT STAND the King Booker gimmick, which means he is portraying the perfect heel champion, I know, I know, but still, even though the win vs. Rey Mysterio was tarnished, and even though Booker is a formidable athlete, can Smackdown rest on the laurels of King Booker in to the future, and specifically in to the new network? I don't think so. I think Batista will take the title here, and the feud will continue with Batista at the top of the mountain, and Booker in the hunt. Booker is a better hunter than he is the hunted, and Batista is better as the defending champion. Reverse the roles, and let's get a trilogy of matches going with funky stips. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am picking three title changes at Summerslam.

WINNER: Batista

WWE Championship - Title changes hands on a DQ
EDGE vs. JOHN CENA

If you read my last chapter, you know my pick. Edge has shown the guts of a champion, there's no question about it, but I hate him as a title holder. With the use of the spinner belt, as well, it's obvious that Cena is due to get the belt back at some time. Edge was a transitional champion again, even though it was longer duration because of Van Dam's indiscretions following One Night Stand. Cena has a movie coming out shortly, and his being the WWE champion will certainly bring more marquis notoriety to the approaching movie premiere. Let's call it as we see it, ladies and gentlemen. Vince McMahon thinks John Cena can be the next Stone Cold Steve Austin.

And truthfully, so do I.

WINNER: John Cena
