This years Upstate 8 tournament is lining up to be one of the hottest tournaments all year round with the amount of talent coming in, NWA Upstate is destined to be where the real action is at in Upstate NY!

With the recent addition of the S.A.T.'s Joel and Jose Maximo to the bracket's, the entire landscape of the tournament may have been changed. The S.A.T.'s have already established themseves on the independents including Ring of Honor, their experience could put them over the top and lead them to victory. But with teams like Team F.I.S.T. or the dream pairing of Milano Collection A.T. & Chris Hero looking to make their NWA Upstate debuts by winning on the companies most prestigious night, it really has turned into ANYONE's night. We hope to have bio's on all the teams in the next few days leading into August 26th.

Also, We have just received word that NWA Upstate Champion "The Right Stuff" Brodie Lee will be making an apperance and watching the 25-man Rochester Rumble very closely to see who comes out victorious as Lee could possibly be facing the winner for a shot at his title down the road.

Also Chip Stetson will be this years inductee into the Rochester Wrestling Hall of Fame. His complete bio is already up, and he will be inducted by his longtime best friend Upstate owner Hellcat.

With 21 names already signed up for the Over the Top Rope Rochester Rumble, and a shot at ANY Upstate Championship the winner desires the possibilities are endless at just how the outcome of this one may be. For all we know the man who wins may not even listed as a participant yet.

The inaugural Rochester Rumble last year saw the number one entrant JP Black go bell to bell, and the very next show used his shot at gold to capture the Kayfabe Dojo title.

And if all that wasn't enough, we've also received word that NWA Upstate Director of Policy Enforcement Christopher Hill has promised to bring with him a special surprise that will make Upstate fans hearts skip a beat.

Later this week we will a final update and preview leading up to the biggest show in Upstate to date and arguably the biggest tournament to take place this year on the east coast.
