According to new reports, Vince McMahon and Bonnie Hammer of NBC Universal recently finished negotiations on a deal to renew ECW on Sci Fi late Wednesday afternoon.

Although "official" terms of the new deal are not yet available, ECW will still remain on Tuesday nights at 10pm ET and will now have a replay showing at a time yet to be determined.

Many are expecting the deal to be announced publicly before the end of this week. This renewal for ECW on Sci Fi has been expected for the last two weeks as Sci Fi initially projected a 1.4 rating for the ECW series when it began in June. Instead, the show has averaged a 2.3 rating and totally blew away expectations.
