Additional notes on TNA ratings from last week, 'Bound For Glory' tickets
On Thursday, August 31, 2006 at 7:15 PM EST As reported earlier this week, last week's edition of TNA iMPACT! drew a final and rather low 0.8 cable rating. The Saturday 8/26 replay scored a 0.5 cable rating.
Speaking of ratings, I don't believe many within TNA are expecting a big rating for tonight's show on Spike TV with heavy competition taking place on MTV with the 2006 Video Music Awards. Traditionally, that show always took away WWE's audience on Thursday night in Smackdown's old timeslot. However, TNA does air right as the show finishes.
Lightless sent this in: I called the Compuware Box Office to see about how many tickets are left for the show (Bound For Glory PPV). The person I spoke to claimed that there are a lot left, and said, "At least over a 1,000 left." Doesn't sound too promising just yet for TNA.
