Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson has been diagnosed with two ligament tears in his shoulder and a possible tear in his chest as well.

Danielson may have to face surgery in the future, but will instead opt to work a modified schedule and attempt to repair the issue with physical therapy. Danielson is currently off this week's Full Impact Pro events in Florida and will also miss ROH's September 15 event in East Windsor, CT.

It should be noted that Danielson's scheduled ROH Title defense against Pro Wrestling NOAH's KENTA on September 16 at the Manhattan Center in New York City (ROH's debut in the venue) is still on as previously scheduled. Danielson would likely miss up to around three months of ring time if he elected to get surgery right now.
