Dark Match:

- Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Eugene defeated Viscera & Charlie Haas.

ECW on Sci Fi Taping (Air Date: September 12):

- WWE is using a tunnel at Madison Square Garden for the ECW entrance area. Fans normally use this tunnel to enter the arena.

- The taping opened with a Paul Heyman in-ring promo where he announced it would be Big Show vs. Sabu later tonight in an Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship.

- Rob Van Dam defeated Hardcore Holly via DQ. The DQ finish took place when Test, Mike Knox and Stevie Richards all attacked RVD. The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer ran out to make the save for RVD.

- CM Punk defeated Shannon Moore.

- Rene Dupree defeated Balls Mahoney. Kevin Thorn interfered to help give Dupree the win.

- Big Show defeated Sabu in an Extreme Rules Match to retain the ECW Championship.
