Greg Gagne was dropped by World Wrestling Entertainment yesterday from his duties as booker for the Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental territory. Gagne, a former AWA star, was hired by WWE as an agent after WrestleMania 22 in Chicago and was then moved into a position of booker of OVW, replacing Paul Heyman.

There remains no word on who will be replacing Gagne as booker of OVW. It is believed at this point that Danny Davis and Al Snow will assume duties until a replacement can be found. Gagne has not been reassigned elsewhere in the company as he is now gone from WWE.
