Funk's Corner - Jeff Jarrett is a Woman Beater
On last night's iMPACT TV Show, Jeff Jarrett viciously attacked the Funking Conservatory's Head Referee, "The Claw" with a leather strap.
Jeff Jarrett's attack was not limited to "The Claw," but in an instant, Jeff Jarrett lashed out striking five more members of the Funking Conservatory team, Johnny Magnum, Blain Rage, Jon Davis, Reece Royal and Jag Gonzalez.
Jeff Jarrett was unexpected on the scene and his attack unprovoked.
After being whipped by Jeff Jarrett with a leather strap, Funking Conservatory World Champion Johnny Magnum said he would return to the scene at "No Surrender" for revenge. To quote Johnny Magnum, "Black men don't get whipped any more."
England's Reece Royal said he kind of enjoyed seeing The Claw get her whipping but Jeff Jarrett took it too far.
Funking Conservatory's Jeff "Jag" Gonzalez said Jeff Jarrett would pay dues to "Latino Heat."
The Claw vowed revenge for the marks left on her body and a busted finger from being pushed down.
Blain Rage chuckled at The Claw taking a whipping but said he would whip the s*** out of Jeff Jarrett at No Surrender.
We have video of the attack by Jarrett and complete video responses from the Team Members of the Funking Conservatory who were attacked by Jeff Jarrett on our website at www.dory-funk.com. Go to Funk's Corner.

IPW:UK TELEVISION ON THE WRESTLING CHANNEL THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, 11PM, LATE NIGHT UNCENSORED!
When it was announced on August 25th that IPW:UK were coming to The Wrestling Channel, few could’ve dreamed that it would’ve been so soon. But thanks to the lightning fast turnaround from both IPW:UK and The Wrestling Channel, last Friday night we hit the air-waves for the very first time. And tonight… we’re back:
11PM, ON THE WRESTLING CHANNEL (SKY 427)
On IPW:UK TV episode two, you will find:-
Aviv Maayan vs. James Tighe
Our opening contest on IPW:UK episode 2 The Wrestling Channel is a mat-based contest from back in November 2005, at IPW:UK Brawl at the Hall. This match may be a first viewing for some people of Aviv Maayan and James Tighe, but these are two men that certainly know each other’s weaknesses and strengths after having many bouts in the past.
Maayan had just been coming back off of a major ankle injury, and was on a bit of a losing streak since being defeated for the IPW:UK Title back in July, only one night after capturing it.
James Tighe made his IPW:UK debut half way through 2005, but never really got going into any real stride, seeming unfamiliar with both his opponents and his partners. Now, with an inability to put the blame on that for a loss, Tighe needs the win just as badly as Maayan.
Fact: James Tighe is currently ranked #2 in IPW:UK Title Ranks.
Fact: Aviv Maayan was the very first ever IPW:UK Champion.
International Four Way: Matt Sydal (ROH) vs. Ashley Reed (IPW:UK) vs. Paul Robinson (IPW:UK) vs. Delirious (ROH)
As you saw last week, Ashley Reed and Paul Robinson have been trying to out-duke each other big time, proving who really IS the best of the ‘new generation’ of IPW:UK star. Both men have impressive moves in their arsenal, and with Robinson’s quickness on his feet, and Reed’s seeming intelligence for which move would inflict best damage on the best body part, both men are at a stalemate. Having fought twice, the scores are tied at 1 apiece.
Enter two stars from Ring of Honor in America. Brought in to take the two young guns to their limit, Sydal and Delirious are so similar yet so different in so many ways. Very familiar with each other, Sydal is considered by AJ Styles to be a protégé of his. Delirious, is… just mad.
This match is one fall to a finish, with both Brits looking to show the world that not only are they the best of the young generation in England, but also that they can hang with the big boys, and score the duke on their American foes.
Fact: Ashley Reed is the only man in the match with a valet or manager, the lovely Donna.
Fact: Donna distracted the referee in the first Reed vs. Robinson encounter, which allowed Reed to get the submission victory – even after Robinson had reached the ropes to break the hold.
Max Voltage in singles action.
Last week we saw Maximum Head (Max Voltage and Dan Head) take on the Dragon Hearts combo of Spud and Dragon Phoenix in tag action, the opening contest of our very first ever show on IPW:UK TV.
This week, one half of Maximum Head, the charismatic and energetic Max Voltage, is back – and in singles action. The match, added last minute at the request of a mystery wrestler, is one fall to a finish and is Voltage’s singles debut in the promotion.
Fact: Max Voltage’s signature moves are the handspring elbow off of the ropes, and the ‘Max Factor’,
Also on the show is a re-introduction to ‘The Guvnor’ Martin Stone – the IPW:UK Champion - as well as full information on what you can see next week (first airdate Friday the 22nd September) on IPW:UK TV.
