No Surrender PPV Notes: Major announcement, & Triple Chance Tag rules
On Sunday, September 24, 2006 at 4:43 PM EST TNAwrestling.com has added some updates regarding the No Surrender PPV tonight. Here are some notes for the event:
- According to an article on the website, Jim Cornette revealed in a "morning production meeting" that the the major announcement will be quote, "delivered by a wrestler not scheduled to be on the broadcast tonight."
- The rules for the Triple Chance Tag Team Battle Royal tonight are as follows: Eight teams will take part with all 16 wrestlers in the ring. When a member of a tag team is tossed out, they can remain at ringside. If their tag team partner is also thrown out, the tag team is eliminated. Battle Royal rules will continue until two wrestlers remain. At that point, the respective partners will join the contest and the match will resume under tag team rules. The winning tag team will then earn a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Titles.
