PWInsider.com reports that WWE released Kevin Matthews and Danny Gimondo from their developmental deals. Both Matthews and Gimondo had been working regularly with Deep South Wrestling.

On a related note, there has reportedly been some talk within WWE about revamping their current developmental division, which currently includes Ohio Valley Wrestling and Deep South Wrestling. There has been talk about adding on new developmental promotions, but that is about it so far as it was described as a long term project.
