ECW Champion Big Show/Hardcore Holly pulled from ECW events - more
On Monday, October 2, 2006 at 7:22 PM EST PWInsider.com is reporting that ECW Champion The Big Show and Hardcore Holly were both pulled from ECW House Show events this past weekend due to respective injuries.
Holly was pulled from events so he could get a chance to heal the gash he suffered on his back during an "Extreme Rules Match" against Rob Van Dam last week on ECW on Sci Fi. Holly needed 24 stitches in all after cutting himself following a table spot during the match.
As for ECW Champion The Big Show, he was pulled from the ECW events so he could heal some nagging injuries. According to reports, Big Show has had some issues with his knees as of late and was given the time off so he could rest. It should be noted that Big Show has been prasied by WWE officials for working much harder than he truly needed to in order to help the ECW brand get off the ground.
